Sync across devices

Read state lives in this browser by default and needs no account. To mark a note read on a laptop and see that on a phone, generate a key here and paste it on the other device — both then read and write the same row.

The key is the only credential. Anyone who has it can read and overwrite your progress, so treat it like a password and do not paste it anywhere public. It protects a list of what you have read, not anything sensitive.

Theme follows your operating system until you pick one. Both settings live in this browser.
